Art Inspired Photo Shoot at The Hudson Hotel

Last summer we styled a fun photo shoot with Heather Waraksa at The Hudson Hotel… We were inspired by art and color from the New York Art Scene of yester-year:  Jackson Pollack, Graffitti, Spray painting and bold, bright colors.  Perfect for the fabulous contemporary backdrop of the Hudson Hotel.  Here are some images from the shoot!

We loved the idea of an Indian inspiration. Bangles are an affordable, wearable, fun favor/gift for the ladies. They make a great display. And, don’t be afraid of backdrops for your display areas! this orange color scheme was just perfect. Flowers by Bourgeon BK.

These fabulous graphic programs designed by Regas NY played on color and graphics. The one page format makes it handy and practically frame-ready! It’s shown on the amazing, Pollock inspired runner by The Original Runner Company.

The invites were a nod to color field painting and all things colorful and joyous. They are actually “stacked” windows, building up to the main invite card in the center. Regas NY.

Loved that it WASN’T perfect…. Sometimes imperfection is what makes it so very cool.

HI, we made them! They are plain cloths, we dip dyed them and then hit the edges with spray paint to amplify the tone!
