I’m a pretty big fan of Zara for a go-to rush purchase. Last minute dress for work: check. Emergency T-Shirt: check. Perfect flats: check. So, when there to pick up an emergency blouse to tape a TV segment a couple of weeks ago, I was excited to see a sign announcing ZaraHome.com The US retail site launched in October, but in the hustle and bustle of wedding season, I missed some of the buzz. Their home products had already taken Europe by storm and I can totally see why…. it’s like a meeting point of Z-gallery’s more “world goods” look meets the more bohemian tastes of Anthropologie Home: but at a FRACTION of the cost.
Frankly, not only are a lot of these finds amazing for your HOME, but they are fabulous finds for amazing wedding decor! I am already imagining what we could do with some of this stuff.
I’m MAD over this lace tablecloth (and I’m pretty much digging these glasses and French candlesticks as well):
Speaking of lace, how AMAZING would these lace chargers be on a farm table? They are amazing. And they remind me of the runners my great grandmother used to make. It’s completely cotton crochet and is $15…. if you are having a red themed dinner there is a red version on sale for $7 (it’s called the Navidad)
If you are a detail freak like we are, even your flatware will matter. This reasonably priced set is amazing for home or formal dinner reception.
One of our more favorite things to do when we are doing a destination wedding weekend is to have our reherasal dinner or brunch be far more casual. It’s a great occassion to re-purpose those farm tables you may have rented and re-invent them with a casual table cloth. Zara Home is chock full of amazing, romantic, rustic cloths that are the perfect way to create a new mood or feel if you want to get double duty out of your rental tables. I adore these two European style “country” cloths. The first is the Bronte Cloth and the second, is the brighter London Cloth. Both are around $30-40 bucks and they have coordinating cloth napkins that are $4 each. Amazing.
They also have a ton of amazing vases, trays, jars and containers that would add a ton of character to any display or table. These are probably the kinds of things you would want to keep afterwards.. and range anywhere from $14-$40.
Overall, a treasure trove worth exploring. Of course this being Zara, things are updated constantly.. not for the hesitant shopper. Also the site is divided into new things, and the current inventory, so you need to fully explore to see all that they have to offer. They are having a huge clearance now, so Happy SHopping!
