Someone called me about potentially having their wedding at this venue and I have been dreaming about it ever since…. the location: Locusts on Hudson. Make no mistake, despite it’s slightly ew name, the setting is nothing short of Ah… MAZING.  Wow.  This venue situated right on the Hudson Valley it was owned and cultivated by the once royal Livingston family circa 1797 and named for the black locust trees that were planted there. A sprawling estate, it was purchased in 2004 by Andre Balazs and has since been used for events such as weddings and retreats. The property contains several sleeping cottages, and, to my delight- a BARN!  It also contains a slightly mind-blowing price tag so if you are on a tight budget…. you may want to look, but don’t touch.  Join me in drooling over this place and check out the website for even more spectacular photos (and pics from the property through the ages!)
