A Week(end) in Vermont

In a year that has taken us to Virginia, Maine, NJ, and the Hudson Valley, last week we spent a good chunk of time in Vermont working on Hil & Mo’s pretty frickin’ awesome barn wedding…   When Hilary and Mo reached out to us back in April they knew they wanted a ceremony in a barn and they knew they wanted the barn to be in Vermont… and that was pretty much it.  So, Mayra put on her detective hat and made some calls until she found not only a barn that fit the bill, but the PERFECT barn, perfect property, and the perfect location (15 minutes from the Equinox Resort & Spa that would become home base for the weekend).  The Schwindt barn was the perfect setting for the relaxed, but elegant vibe they wanted for their guests and it definitely didn’t disappoint.

We had a ball creating a tiny oasis for fun in the middle of a horse pasture in VT… the barn housed the night time ceremony before guests went for cocktails and a horah in one tent before heading to the dinner tent where 200 guests gathered around 7 tables for a combo plated/ family style meal.   The best part of the night?  The groom, who works in Digital Media, had set up a wedding hashtag for their guests to post instagram photos…. Below a handful of the shots their guests captured during the night!  SO fun to see it through their eyes!!!!

Congrats to Hilary and Mo, SO fun to work on this with you and making magic together for your wedding weekend! And thanks to all of our team, especially Mrs. Schwindt, the staff at the Equinox, Michael Scott Catering, Bourgeon BK flowers, Pember and the guys at Rain or Shine, and Jessica Paulen at Judy Paulen Designs.
