Giving Thanks (via Paper and Post)

Mayra has been busily working on Thank You Notes (or attempting to make her way through her list) and it got me thinking in general how good they are to have on hand.  Sometimes,to be honest, only a note card will do. And, I don’t just mean for when you receive a gift, I think sometimes when a person or friend or just neighbor goes a bit above and beyond, it’s great to have a lovely piece of stationery and some postage in the house to drop a card in the mail. Here are a few that I loved- some personalized, some not- that might make a great investment to have around your new marital home.

Love these elegant, but simple cards from Smock.

For something a bit more fun, these “wallpaper” inspired cards from Linda and Harriet is fab!  The liners are Vintage Wallpapers. (Via Glam)

If you are into color, and a card that will surely put a smile on the receivers face, check out this delightful card from Gus & Ruby letterpress and Love Jenna. (Via OhSo Beautiful Paper)

Finally, if you are loving pretty, don’t need it to be overly personal and want the card to say it all- you CAN’T go wrong with these fun, but elegant cards from Rifle. I love the black background. So rich! And yet, so reasonable!  $16 a set!

Happy Summer!  And if you are heading out of town this weekend, perhaps you’ll find some time to catch up on your thank you card writing!
