We are so excited to have one of our former brides gracing the pages of The Knot Magazine!! Serah was selected to be featured in the Style Stalker section. The honor was well deserved. As gorgeous as she looks in this photo, she looked even more beautiful in person on her wedding day!
As always, Robert Wagner Photography did a wonderful job capturing the day!
You must understand that I spend most of my day emailing with brides and vendors, so I respect electronically conveyed humor. Robert Wagner kind of has the best sense of email humor…. He saw my earlier post today about BK Awesomeness and sent the message: “I also saw your comment and picture of the cake, I took it at as a call to action…..” And so, I give you, Cheryl Kleinman’s FABULOUS cake as shot by a talented photographer, and not a wedding planner with a camera……
In case you don’t remember Serah and Min from last week, here is a fun (and romantic) shot of this great couple! As well as a glimpse at their awesome floral (via Verde Flowers) and color palette!
Honestly, this is like a one wedding inspiration board for Green, Brown & White!!! They used simple Kermits for their pomanders and ceremony decor, worked with the white folding chairs that they rent at Smack Mellon and used brown cotton linens to play off of! Delightful! Love the colorful cocktail napkins… Color is free, ladies!!! Thanks Robert to responding to my passive aggressive plea for cake pics! And there is STILL more to come!
I KNOW I owe you pics of Serah & Min’s awesome Smack Mellon wedding, but in the interim, I realized I missed a couple of gorgeous shots of Dario & Aisyah! In the meantime…. coming up next, covering tatoos!
So, we can help people plan anything, and come up with cool and fun ideas, but it’s always AWESOME when people bring their own ideas to the table. Dario & Aisyah wanted to celebrate Spring in New York and had a lot of ideas about what they meant to them. From streaming butterflies from the ceiling at Smack Mellon to these amazing flowers from Ovando, it was just stunning to see. Robert Stark Lighting did an awesome job with all the hanging as well as the beautiful gobos and the film projected onto the massive wall at Smack Mellon. Once again, Leslie at Marcey Brownstein did a fabulous job with all of the food!
Dario & Aisyah LOVED all of the street performers around New York. So, we brought some of them in as part of the celebration. They showered their guests with gifts of I Love New York T Shirts, books, and a LAVISH, colorful candy bar. They hired a great DJ from One Oak who kept the crowd going until 3:30 in the morning!!
These are my clients, Anna + Liberty, who were married in September during what I like to refer to as our "Musical Wedding Weekend". We had a rare 2 weekend wedding (Friday and Sunday) and both couples were musically inclined. I had a great time working both events and the photos of Anna + Lib’s big day by Karen Mordechai really capture how special this couple are!
The ceremony and reception were at Smack Mellon. Her dress is a bias-cut Jenny Packham.
