Tipi Trend?

Though it was nearly two months ago, I still can’t stop talking about the all sorts of awesome that was Heather Waraksa’s wedding.  One of my favorite parts about it was the “dance” portion, that was in a clearing in the woods, where guests could dance under the stars, around a giant, 12 foot tall bonfire, or kick it in the TeePee she and Jonathan had put up.  It was as awesome as it sounds… (A couple of images below from Angelica Glass).

So, I should not be at all surprised that Heather is (as usual) ahead of the curve with bringing the Tipi to the wedding.  As a matter of fact, or wedding loving neighbors across the pond (and apparently halfway around the world in Australia) are already living up the best days of their lives IN tee pees.  I present to you PapaKata, the  Wedding Tipi company! Based in the UK (there is another company that also has Kata style tents in Australia).  Glam brides will always have clear span tents, Preppy gals love a Sperry and FINALLY something for the couple with an inner flower child yearning to dance inside a tipi. Will PapaKata bring their Tipis to the States? Will I meet and marry an Englishman so my wedding can be in a place where “shire” factors into the name? Only time will tell!

They should definitely bring Tipis our way. Brides would eat this up!
